Because of it’s location near Palma and also being only 24 kilometres (around half an hour by taxi) from Palma Airport, Magaluf has become one of the best known of the resorts on Majorca. The resort is made up of three main beaches all of which have beautiful white sand. Overlooking the beaches are many small bars where you can enjoy a drink and watch the world go by in the daytime. In the evening, these same bars are filled with people all enjoying themselves listening to local music, dancing and having a drink.
During the day, Magaluf offers visitors lots to do, with many water sports being available here to try from water skiing and wind surfing to scuba diving and jet skiing. Not all water activities here involve being hugely active either, glass bottomed boats offer trips out across the clear seas surrounding this marvellous island where you can see many wonderful fish and other sea creatures.

Shops, bars, and restaurants, abound here in Magaluf, and there is a lot to do on land as well as out on the water. Go kart racing is popular locally, and many people like to enjoy a dinner show or cabaret at one of the local hotels. There are a lot of different styles to choose from when it comes to food. Local restaurants selling traditional dishes can be found, but there are also many other options from fast food outlets to foods of other nations such as Spanish, Chinese, Indian and English all available.
