New to Magaluf, the intriguing House of Katmandu is one among the top attractions in the Island. A favourite among families, the House of Katmandu has got everything to keep every member fully entertained. A tour inside the upside down Tibetan-style mansion takes you through numerous inveigling named and themed chambers, all of which gift visitors’ surprises around every corner. Today, the themed attraction serves as one of the best places that travelers who are interested in exploring the legend of Katmandu can choose to visit. An ideal attraction for the entire family, the manor, one among the latest innovative concepts to evolve in the entertainment industry houses some of the world’s rarest relics. Coupled with the animatronics, altering designs and off the wall exhibits, the house of Katmandu is for sure one attraction that anyone will love.

Oozing with mysteries and legends, the house has on its cards an implausible story – the story of Kilgore Goode – its owner who is said to have spent his entire life here in quest for a mythical red gem. The story which unfolds while you make your way through the intriguing rooms reveals that during his pursuit, Goode encountered a dappled crew of people including a mermaid princess, a mysterious Sherpa, a monk and an abominable snowman. Once inside this world of legend, myth, mystery and magic, you can discover and enjoy the feel of being a part in the adventures Kilgore Goode once set out on.

The house which looks like it has fallen right out of the sky to land on its roof, falls into the category of a self guided interactive attraction that offers visitors a once in a lifetime opportunity to delve into a treasure filled world that is sure to keep them entertained every second they spent in it. Each of the rooms abounds with enchanting and fascinating displays which have about them an aura of the past.

Do not miss the House’s 4D experience which many believe is the best part of your trip to the mansion. Visitors can make their choice from amongst the 6 thrill rides here, each of which transports them into the fourth dimension. Action-packed, the ride takes visitors right into the midst of all the action thanks to the special effects (that are enhanced with the special dimensional glasses) and the specially designed seating. Visitors can also keep themselves amused with the entertainment options that the Timbuktu Bar and Grill on the terrace gifts them. The extraordinary world of virtual reality with motley of wacky exhibits and robotic figures also gifts visitors plenty of interactive games and a magical chimera.

In closer proximity to Magaluf than Palma Nova, you can find the House of Katmandu on the beach road as you head out from Palmanova toward Magaluf. Visitors can be delighted of the fact that this attraction provides them all the facilities that they would look forward to including an ample car parking facility, disabled access throughout, multi language facility, free wireless internet and even full air-conditioning.

Step into the world of mysteries! Who knows you may even discover a secret or two!

Majorca has to its credit literally everything a vacationer would look for on his/her holiday. From a serene backdrop, an exciting nightlife and heart-warming hospitality to the numerous beach activities and opportunities for fun in some of the best water parks in Europe, Majorca serves as a perfect holiday destination.

Majorca/Mallorca (as it is otherwise known) boasts of numerous water parks – one better than the other. The island is a haven for anyone who enjoys theme parks and who would love the idea of adding water to their holidays.

In spite of the fact that there are no traditionally styled theme parks in the island, Majorca swanks of an incredible assortment of water based theme parks. The uniqueness of the water parks at the island is that that they can be enjoyed by literally anyone – young or old. Irrespective of their age, each and every water park at Majorca has something to keep everyone amused. There are even water parks which come with miniature zoos and other entertainment options that manage to draw the attention of every single person who visits the park.

Thanks to the large number of water Parks that have been set up in the area, visitors are always within easy reach of one of them. Taking a peep at them:

Aqualand El Arenal: One of the most spectacular and biggest water parks in the entire European continent, this park oozes with a multiplicity of attractions suited for everyone in the family. A swimming pool, crazy golf and a waxworks museum – there is nothing this park lacks. Not to be missed! Open: May-Sep, daily 10-6

Marineland Mallorca (Costa d’en Blanes): Another children’s paradise at the island. Has a bit of everything. It is the sea lion and dolphin show that visitors love the most here. Penguins, aquariums and the parrot shows here are equally entertaining. The Mare Nostrum museum which gifts visitors a spectacular underwater view of the dolphins is another favorite at the park. Completing its uniqueness is the private beach in Marineland.

Hidropark - Port d’Alcudia: A water based theme park with a plenty of thrills and spills – you will never have enough at Hidropark. Wave pools, water slides, the 54 hole Super golf course, pedal boats, paintballs and the list goes on and on .Open every summer season (1 May until 31 October) from 10:30 until 18:00 (high season hours)

Aquacity - S’Arenal (Platja de Palma): takes name as one of them most noted and largest water funfairs across the globe. Water slides, wave pool, children’s farm, parrot shows, mini-zoo, an antique typewriter museum are some of the specialties here. Open: May-Sep, daily 10-5; Oct, Sun-Fri 10-5
