Once you arrive in Palma and have proceeded through passport control, you will certainly feel that your holiday in Majorca has begun and it is then a matter of which part of this fabulous island to visit.
The ideal holiday would be to spend a month touring all of the delightful resorts, however, most people do not have enough available time to achieve that. You will therefore have to select a resort.
You could travel northwards on the motorway for an hour and reach the family resort of Puerto Pollensa, which draws holidaymakers back to it year after year, or only 30 minutes from Puerto Pollensa is the quiet roman town of Alcudia and its neighbour Puerto Alcudia.
All three are certainly worth visiting.
An alternative destination from Palma is to travel west for 45 minutes and you will reach firstly the resort of Palma Nova and adjacent to it is the busy, exciting, active resort of Magaluf, which has been a favourite of young people, mainly from Britain for many years.
Magaluf has tall impressive Hotels, Apartments, shops of all types, fabulous beaches and a nightlife
of clubs, pubs and discos.
