Flights
Flights from the UK to Palma take approximately 2 hours 40 minutes, and there are lots of airlines who fly there including Thomas Cook, Lufthansa, Monarch, British Airways, Aer Lingus, BMI Baby, Ryanair and more. These fly out from a variety of different locations in the UK, and some can be cheaper just by changing the airport you fly from too. Also worth remembering is the fact that the earlier you book your flight, particularly with budget airlines, the cheaper they generally are, so book early to get a bargain flight.

Alternative transport

You can catch a bus from Palma de Mallorca airport to Magaluf and Palma Nova from the taxi ranks located outside the arrivals terminal building. Alternatively if there are more than four of you travelling together, you may find it cheaper and more comfortable to book an airport transfer before you fly. Airport transfer mini-busses carry between five and twelve passengers and are usually air-conditioned. They also usually offer lap and shoulder belts to hold child seats in place, and if booked in advance through a reputable company, they’ll check to make sure your transfer mini-bus is waiting for you when you arrive even if there are flight delays. These mini-busses are also very useful if you have a lot of luggage – for example if you are golfing for example.
