Family holidays in Magaluf are cheap and popular and it’s no wonder when you think about all the things there are there for you to do. Not only do you have sun, sea and sand on a beautiful island, but because of how small the island is (you can drive across it in a little over two hours), it means that every attraction that’s on offer, is close enough for you to visit.

The Magaluf Pirate Show
Your ticket includes dinner and a show, and you’ll get to see incredible acrobatics, dancing and comedy. Just make sure when you tae the family that you go for the ‘pirates adventure’ not the ‘pirates uncut’ which is a version of the same adventure, but not suitable for those under 18.

Aqualand & Hidropark
There are several waterparks across Majorca, including Aqualand at El Arenal, and another Aqualand at Magaluf. Both are excellent places to visit with the kids, although the one at El Arenal is larger and has somewhat more rides to try out. Another waterpark worth a look is the Hidropark at Palma.

Golf Fantasia
This is the largest of the crazy golf courses around the island, there are three 18 hole course here, and lots of different scenes from caves and waterfalls to gardens. It’s quite popular, so be aware that there can be queues here.

Karting
Go Karting in Magaluf is an excellent experience, they have a race course, practice course, and children from as young as three can join in with special karts designed just for them. This is a great family attraction.

Majorca Auto Safari Park
This is the only dedicated zoo in Majorca, and is a wonderfully unique experience. A four kilometre drive through open countryside will give you the chance to see monkeys, zebras, giraffes, flamingos and much more. There’s a baby zoo which many young children love, where you can see baby elephants and crocodiles at the right time of year, and if you haven’t hired a car, don’t worry, there’s a mini train you can ride instead.

Marineland
This is a great place to go to see a variety of marine life from dolphins and seals to sea lions. There’s even a pool with ray fishes in it, where children can swim in with these fascinating creatures.

Western Park Crazy Wet West
This waterpark is a bit different, here you can combine water play with watching shows between cowboys and Indians, and there’s something for older and younger kids here.

Museum de la Jugeta
This museum is one which fascinates many kids. It is a museum of toys and displays many Spanish antiques and is in a refurbished mansion in Sa Pobla. You’ll find old comic strips, dolls, game boards, elaborate dolls house and much more here.
