Magluf on the island of Majorca is a major holiday resort about ten miles from the island’s capital Palma. It is easy to reach from the airport and takes just 15 minutes by taxi. It is probably one of the best known resorts on the island, and the one which is most well known for its nightlife.
The nightlife here in Magaluf is definitely on the lively side. There are well over 100 bars in the vicinity of Magaluf and neighbouring Palma Nova, as well as many clubs and discos which stay open until dawn or beyond in the summer months, and it’s not surprising that Magaluf attracts many clubbers from across the world, and is considered to be the party capital of the world.
The majority of the clubs and late opening discos and bars in the area are on the Punta Ballena strip, including the monster BCM planet dance and MCP clubs; Bananas, Boomerang, Tokio Joes, and Carwash which are all guaranteed to keep partygoers on the dance floor till well into the next day.
Whatever you’re looking for from a night club, you can find it in Magaluf. Wild sets from world famous DJs, laser shows, fantastic drinks, foam parties, and hot and steamy dancing will fulfil the wildest clubbers dreams here. The Magaluf club scene covers everything from jungle and techno to r&b, hip hop, trance, pop and everything in between.
If you want an action packed night and are planning on hitting the night clubs, you’ll need to be 18+ as in most clubs they’ll ask for proof of your age unless you look 21+. A Magaluf Club Pass costs around 12 euros and will give you entry to five of the main clubs in the area, known collectively as MCP clubs, these are Bananas, Boomerang, Tokio Joes, Buffalo Girls, and Honeys. You’ll be able to come and go as you please between the five with this single ticket as many times as you want through the night. The door pass can be purchased on the door of any of the five clubs and will cost the same no matter which you go to. You’ll get a hand stamp which you then just show on entry to any of the five.
If you want somewhere just a little less lively the bars are a great place to meet up before a night out. With the huge number of bars in Magaluf, you’ll quickly notice that many of them choose different themes, music and drinks to try and make themselves stand out from the rest so there is once again loads of great variety here to choose from.
