Magaluf is one of the two largest resorts on the south west of Majorca. It’s about 10 miles from Palma, and is very easy to reach from Palma Airport taking just 15 minutes by hire car. It is best known for its superb nightlife and affordable package holidays.

The nightlife in Magaluf is what most people would consider lively. There are well over 100 bars here, as well as lots of clubs and discos many of which are on the famous Punta Ballena strip including Bananas, Tokio Joes, and Carwash – three of the area’s most famous places for partygoers.
Many people travelling to Magaluf opt for a package holiday. This is because package holidays offer excellent value for money, and give you a certain amount of security knowing that you’ve paid for your flight, hotel, car hire, and some of your meals. There are many hotels in Magaluf that you can stay in as part of your package holiday, from the Hotel Sol where you could opt for half board knowing you’ll want a good hearty breakfast to set you up for the day after a night of partying, and a decent meal in the evening before you head out clubbing again, but that during the day you’re likely to want to be out and about so paying for lunch as part of the deal wouldn’t suit you. Alternatively, maybe you’d prefer to stay at the Don Juan Hotel which is fully air conditioned, offers internet access to all those who stay here, as well as kids activities and pool, but you want to go for just bed and breakfast because then you can choose to eat in any of the wonderful restaurants Magaluf has to offer.
Don’t forget Magaluf is also home to some wonderful beaches, and it’s famed for the cleanliness of these and their convenient facilities. Most of these beaches offer cheap water sports activities too, and sometimes having a go at one or two of these can be built into your package deal if you want them to. With your car hire taken care of, you’ll also be able to easily drive into Palma just 15 minutes away by car, and indulge in shopping in the island’s capital city, and with the island being as it is, there are many other attractions across it which you could choose to visit too.
