Magaluf is one of the best known of the holiday resorts on the south west coast of Majorca. Many people come to stay here because of vibrant and exciting nightlife, as well as its friendly relaxed atmosphere during the day.

The three main beaches here are filled with beautiful white sand that makes it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun and sea you’ll find here. If you do want to find other things to do however, then there’s plenty of opportunity locally, from water sports to land sports, interesting places to visit, shopping and more.

Water sports are very popular here, and whether you’re an expert or a novice, there are opportunities here for water skiing, jet skiing, wind surfing and scuba diving, not to mention sailing of course. The waters locally are smooth and make ideal playgrounds for having safe fun on and in the water. Another popular water based opportunity is taking a trip out on a glass bottomed boat. These trips are easy to arrange, and very worth while as there is plenty of marine life around this island that you’ll get to see this way.

The Aqualand waterpark at the edge of the Magaluf resort is a giant water park where you’ll find thrilling slides and rides for older kids as well as some tamer ones for toddlers. Near to the water park is a kart track which is open daily through the summer from 10am till midnight, and where you can enjoy the experience of racing round the track either in the day or even on a floodlit track at night.

The house of Katmandu is a huge upside down Tibetan style mansion where visitors are guided through a series of rooms that tell the story of the house’s one time owner Kilgore Goode who was an adventurer on a life long quest for a red jewel. The tour takes you through rooms such as th Galley of Plunders, the Library of Illusions, the Genetics Lab, the Chamber of Pain and the Cave of Shivers. The adventures unfold as you go from room to room and the suspense builds! A 4D motion cinema with 6 rides is nearby, and with specially designed seating and special effects combined with 3D glasses, a ride puts you right in the middle of the action.

A popular evening attraction is the Pirates adventure. This takes the form of a dinner show with a priate theme, and there are short dialogues through out. Most shows are family oriented, but they also have special late night adult only performances as well.

The Magaluf Bungee rocket human catapult is a ride that’s not for the faint hearted. It can be found on the Calle Punta Balena in Magaluf, and this along with many of the other attractions in the area go to make this location one of the best places to go if you want an action packed fun holiday.
